Red parking permits for 2006

Applications for 2006 Staff (Red) parking permits for the Peninsula Campus are due by Monday, 30 January 2006.  The permit fee for next year is $135 ($122.70 plus 10 per cent GST).

The options available for payment are either direct payment by either cheque/money order or credit card, or eligible staff can opt to salary package the fee.

Staff purchasing permits by means other than Salary Packaging ie cheque/credit card must complete Form A.

Salary Packaging

The salary packaging option is not available to casual or sessional staff. Salary Packaging is not available for permits purchased after 30 June 2006. Refunds are not available to staff who salary package their permit.

Eligible staff must first request to salary package their car parking permit fee (please refer to Salary Packaging Manual available online at the Staff Services homepage). Salary Packaging does not incur GST. 

Staff using this option must:

  1. complete a Salary Packaging Parking Permit Application Form (Form B)

  2. complete the Request to Salary Package Parking Permit Fee  (Form C)

  3. return both forms B and C to the Campus Manager’s Office at Peninsula Campus by 30 January 2006.

The above application forms (A, B and C) will also be available from the Campus Administration Office, in Building C.

Completed application form/s together with the payment, if applicable, should be forwarded to Campus Manager’s Office at Peninsula Campus, marked 'Staff Permit Application' by the due date of 30 January 2006. 

The cheque/money order or credit card authority, for those staff who opt to pay by this method, will not be processed until the last two weeks in January.  CASH PAYMENTS CANNOT BE ACCEPTED.

For staff who do not have salary packaging arrangement, permits will be half price if purchased after 30 June 2006, and half refunds (no pro rata) are only available if permits are surrendered prior to 30 June 2006.

PLEASE NOTE

  • Refunds are not available to staff who salary package their permit.

  • The university gives no undertaking that a parking space will be available in any particular place or area.

  • Information relating to the collection of permits will be published in the Peninsula Online and/or via campus-wide email.
