Cassandra Wright: "I wanted to get into postgraduate medicine and I knew that in order to get in I'd need a sturdy undergraduate degree and I wanted one from a renowned university because this would obviously help me get into it. Of the universities available, I had a few choices but Monash has a good international reputation, which was very important for me. It has the abroad program where you can go overseas and that was really appealing for me."

Cassandra Wright: "I'm going to be a doctor. I want to be working in international aid overseas in third world countries."

A title: The Bachelor of Health Science

Cassandra Wright: "The Bachelor of Health Science is really good as an entry pathway into quite a few different courses. Some people can miss out on say physiotherapy - some of my friends are doing the same course as me and will later be able to get into physiotherapy or a postgrad degree as a result of studying this course."

A title: Travel and study

Cassandra Wright: "The Monash Abroad program was quite appealing to me when I was looking at university choices. I'd really like to travel and if I can do that while I'm studying then that's a bonus. I know that Monash has links with the University of Toronto, which is the place that I'm particularly interested in going over to and visiting."

Cassandra Wright: "The quality of teaching here, I've found has been particularly fantastic because you get a lot of one-on-one time with your tutors. They really make an effort to get to know you, what you're doing and what you want to do, and help you to achieve your goals."
