Return to Study information evening
A Return to Study and Pathways information evening will be held at Monash University's Peninsula campus on Tuesday, 19 May at 7 pm. This free event will provide information and advice about the range of pathways that can be used to gain access into courses offered at Monash Peninsula. The Return to Study and Pathways evening is aimed at people who may have been working for a period of time and have been out of the education sector and would like to upgrade or formalise their skills, or change career direction. The event will also be relevant to those people who are looking at transferring from a current TAFE or university course, and VCE students who may wish to keep their options open or who think they may not get the ENTER to meet course entry requirements. Issues that will be covered include pathways options, how to apply, recognition of prior learning, mid year entry options, costs associated with tertiary study and credit transfer for study already undertaken. Representatives from the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC), Chisholm Institute of TAFE and Monash University will speak together with current students who have returned to study through different pathway options. This event will commence with an information session in the George Jenkins Theatre, Monash University Peninsula Campus, McMahon's Road, Frankston. The formal session will be followed by an opportunity to speak to individual course representatives.
