Open mind, open future, open day

People could have been forgiven for thinking the dark forces had taken over the campus on Saturday 6 August but the 2876 visitors to the campus on Open Day had nothing to fear and everything to gain.

The range of activities, information sessions and events held on Open Day provided the crowds with valuable course advice as well as an opportunity to get a feel for the campus's friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

The number of visitors to the campus was up on previous years and all areas reported strong interest in courses.

Ballons
The day started with balloons galore adding colour to the campus.

Input required on email, calendar and related services

Information Technology Services (ITS) is undertaking a consultative review of workgroup and collaboration services for staff. Services included in this review include email, calendar, document sharing, collaboration groups, video conferencing, mailing lists and instant messaging.

The main aim of the review is to ensure that all staff are given the opportunity to put forward their requirements for these services. To facilitate this, User Reference Forums are being held at all Victorian campuses for all staff. You are encouraged to attend and provide input. If you can’t make it to the forum please put forward your requirements by filling in the online form.

If you have any questions about the project or the User Reference Forums
