  Issue 12, Monday 7 May 2001

Staff are invited to take part in Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea on Thursday 24 May at the campus.

This annual fundraiser, which raises money for the Anti-Cancer Council of
Victoria, will be held in the Student Lounge from 10 am to 11.30 am. For a gold coin donation you can have a cuppa, choose from a selection of cake or cookies and have a chat with other staff and students - all while supporting a very worthy cause.

 FOOTY TIPPING COMPETITION

With the footy season well and truly underway, there has been some very accurate tipping. Allen McConnell  and con Duyvestyn both picked 8 in the first round but unfortunately there was no payout. Since then Jill McLachlan, Sue Redfern, Helen Dunne and Kevin Kenshole have all had luck in later rounds picking 8 and collecting money, while nine people picked the 8 in round six but there was no money in the kitty for payouts. Current leaders are Tom Jeavons and Con Duyvestyn both on 36.
