Monash Student Employment and Careers (MONSEACS) at the Peninsula campus is running the inaugural 'Careers in Nursing' session on 1 May.
This event has been coordinated by Mary Gordon, Careers Counsellor at MONSEACS Peninsula in conjunction with Joan Yalden, senior lecturer in the School of Nursing.
The event is similar to a Careers Fair, where representatives from hospitals and other health organisation can talk with the university's nursing students face to face.
Participants include St Vincent's Hospital, Royal Women's Hospital, St Vincent's & Mercy Private Hospital, South Eastern Private Hospital, Australian Nursing Federation, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Box Hill Hospital.
