Climate Change and Adaptation forum

Frankston City Council together with the Western Port Greenhouse Alliance is  presenting a community forum into CLIMATE CHANGE AND ADAPTATION – HOW WILL IT AFFECT YOU? on Tuesday 23 August at the Peninsula Campus.

If you have ever wondered:

  • what are the scientific facts about climate change?
  • what are the global and national implications?
  • what are the implications for our state and how is the state addressing those issues?
  • what are the regional implications and how are we addressing those issues?

then this is an event no to miss.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear from internationally renowned climate change scientist, Dr Graeme Pearman, as well as speakers from State Government and the Western Port Greenhouse Alliance, as they present and discuss the likely impacts of climate change and adaptation at a global and local scale.

Following the presentations there will be an opportunity to participate in an open forum. Ask the speakers questions and explore how you can help respond to climate change issues at a local level.

Bookings are essential. For more information, contact Dan Garlick on  9705 5129, or Jim Kerin on 9776-8769.
