Accommodation on the Clayton campus
Monash University's Clayton campus offers a wide range of housing and accommodation options, both on and off campus, for students, staff and visitors to the university.
Five halls of residence are located on the campus (Deakin, Howitt, Farrer, Roberts and Richardson), which provide accommodation and meals to more than 1000 students, senior residents and staff. Each room is fully furnished and heated, with shared facilities including bathroom, laundry and common room.
Normanby House is located directly opposite the Halls of Residence. It is commonly referred to as the 'sixth' hall of residence - the facilities, services and residential support offered to Normanby House residents are very similar to those offered at the Halls.
The south-east flats, located on the south east corner of Clayton campus, are available to Monash students. They consist of 30 furnished flats, varying in size from 2 bedroom up to 5 bedroom.
Monash Residential Services currently provides 10 properties that are available exclusively for short-term staff accommodation. This accommodation is available for use by staff that are new to the university, or current university employees in transit.
The Housing Advisory Service aims to meet the needs of the University Community by providing information and service in the areas of tenancy, housing, and accommodation. |
