Services

The following services are available to students and staff:

HEALTH, WELLBEING AND DEVELOPMENT (HWD)

HWD offers counselling, a health service, a student advisory hub providing advice and assistance on financial matters and international student issues. Most services are free, and all are confidential.

HWD is located on level 1, Building B.

Counselling

The counselling service offers free professional counselling to help you get the most out of university life. Issues that often arise for students include relationships, personal and study problems, adjustment to university, cultural identity and psychological concerns such as depression, stress, anxiety and self-esteem.

The service is located at Health, Wellbeing and Development, level 1, building B. Appointments are necessary.

Health Service

Male and female doctors are available at this medical practice, as well as a variety of other allied health services. The practice nurse can also provide information on a wide range of medical conditions, lifestyle issues, sexual health and travel information. The service operates Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 5 pm.

It is located at Health, Wellbeing and Development, level 1, Building B.

Spiritual Centre and Quiet Space

The Spiritual Centre is a non-denominational space available for groups and individuals to use for spiritual/religious activities such as seminars, meetings, study and prayer. The Quiet Space provides an area for individuals to have time-out from their work to meditate, pray or relax. The Spiritual Centre and the Quiet Space have separate entrances and can be used simultaneously. Both areas can be booked through HWD, where the key is located.

Information Technology Services (ITS) Service Desk

Every Monash student receives a computer account to access the computers on campus. The ITS Service Desk is the place to go to set it all up. The ITS Service Desk can also organise printing accounts and assist with any computer problems during semester. Contact 9903 1300 or visit the online self-help system.

Service Centre, level 1, building A

During the main teaching semesters, the ITS Service Desk is open from Monday to Thursday from 8.30 am to 8.30 pm and on Fridays from 8.30 am to 5 pm. At other times it is open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
