Health Service on campus
Monash Caulfield Health Service is a bulk billing medical clinic located
on campus.
The service offers experienced male and female General Practitioners and a variety of
health and allied services.
Available to staff, students, family and friends, the service is open from 8.30 am to 5
pm Monday to Friday.
As well as routine medical consultations, the following services are available
- Allergy testing
- skin and sun spots checked
- warts treated with liquid nitrogen (frozen)
- nutrition and dietary advice
- blood tests (cholesterol, sugars)
- computerised heart check (ECG)
- travel advice and vaccinations
- childhood vaccinations
- sports medicine
- contraception and women's health
- family medicine.
And with winter coming on it's also the perfect time for a flu vaccination also
available through the Health Service for $15.

The friendly staff at the Health Service, located at 7 Princes Ave (opposite the
Student Union building), will help you with all inquiries.
Up, up and away 
An information session on travel procedures by the universitys preferred
travel providers, American Express International Inc. and Kistend Travel Pty. Ltd will be
held at Caulfield on Tuesday 1 May.
Information will be provided on the following topics:
- Business Travel Consultant Teams
- The new Mantas fare structure how this can save your cost centre money
- How the American Express Webster can provide beneficial information for Corporate card
holders.
- Release of the new Travel Webster, including additional information on Health and Safety
for the Monash traveller.
- Information on the new University consortium arrangement, provided by Travel Fix Pty.
Ltd.
These sessions are beneficial to staff who frequently book travel as well as those who
book travel from time to time.
The sessions will run for about one hour and representatives from the three
organisations will be available to answer all your questions. Sally Adios, University
Travel Liaison Manager, will also be available to answer queries relating to internal
travel policy and procedures.
Door prizes have been donated by the travel providers.
The session will be held on Tuesday 1 May at 10 am in the Clayfield Room.
