Anyone for tennis?

It may not look like much at the moment, but this patch of dirt will
soon be transformed in four flexi paved tennis courts.
The construction of the tennis courts, adjacent to building T, and the
refurbishment of the East Caulfield Reserve pavilion commenced in early
April 2001 through a joint initiative between Monash University, MONSU and the City of Glen Eira.
Works are programmed for completion around late June 2001. The
tennis courts will be flood lit and will be managed and booked through MONSU.
During construction, the capacity of the building T ticket machine car
park will be reduced and the existing angled parking bays are being
converted to right angled bays against building T to assist manoeuvrability. This car park however will be permanently reduced to
26 parking bays including one disabled bay.
At this stage the anticipated hours of operation for the tennis courts are 8 am to 10.30 pm Monday to Saturday and 8 am to 9 pm Sundays and Public holidays.
The proposed booking rates are $11/hr per court (day hire rate) and$13.20/hr per court
(night hire rate).
Any queries should be directed to Bradley Williamson on extn 32124..
