Monash updating screensaver (Windows only)
- Keep up-to-date via the Monash updating screensaver
- Install the screensaver to display eye catching graphics when your computer is idle and connected to the internet
- Simply set and forget as it automatically updates with new graphics every few weeks
- After installation click the screensaver to see informative web pages about the current graphics
Screensaver installation
Method A
- Run monash-updating-screensaver.exe (853 kb) to preview and install the screensaver
- To adjust the screensaver settings after installation:
- Right click your desktop and select 'properties' then select the 'screensaver' tab
- Adjust the 'Wait' time to your liking (Eg. 1 minute for testing or 5 minutes for daily use)
- Use the 'Power' button to adjust the 'Turn off monitor' time to the amount of time you wish to display the screensaver before the monitor turns off (Eg. 20 minutes)
- To uninstall the screensaver open the 'monash-50th-screensaver.exe' file and click the 'Uninstall' button
Method B
- Open monash-updating-screensaver.zip (412 kb) to launch software to unzip the file (If you don't have zip software there are plenty of free versions available like QuickZip)
- Within your zip software double click the file named 'Monash_updating_screensaver.exe' to preview and install the screensaver
- To adjust the screensaver settings after installation:

Tips
- If you have installed the screensaver correctly but the screen appears empty, check your internet connection is working
- For the best screensaver viewing experience install Flash Player for Internet Explorer browser. To check if you need Flash Player view the Enlarged preview (Flash 2 mb) using your Internet Explorer browser. If a message about Flash appears at the top of the screen you need to download and install Flash Player using your Internet Explorer browser.
