Monash University Alumni Relations: Special Bulletin
In late 2006, Monash University commenced a more focused and coordinated approach to alumni relations to maximise the benefits to alumni, students and the University.

2007 has been an important planning year. We wanted to make sure that the alumni relations program serves the needs of Monash’s more than 220,000 alumni located in 120 countries worldwide. Obviously, it is important that the plan provides benefits both to alumni and to the University.
A sound program is based on sound research and consultation. We have met with key alumni representatives from around the world; conducted a major survey (4,889 alumni responded); and researched best practice in alumni relations. We now have a clearer understanding of alumni needs and have selected four key pillars as the foundation of Monash’s alumni programs.
