IT Industry ProjectsAlumni are invited to support Monash students by becoming involved with the Faculty of Information Technology 'Industry Projects' program for 2004. Among the graduates offering projects for 2004 is Jason Watson, Director of TomatoSource ICT, and 7SEALS.COM.PTY LTD. As an IT student, Jason was given the opportunity to complete an Industrial Experience project in 1992 for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and is now excited about the opportunity to give back to Monash University. In 2002 alumnus Jack Verdins, now at IBM, successfully sponsored an industrial project in which final year software engineering students developed and implemented a project for the IBM Websphere group. <more info> Students are required to commence their industry project in March and complete it by September of the same year. Participating organisations keep the project results.
