Silicon Valley internships for top Monash IT studentsFive of the highest undergraduate achievers in Information Technology at Monash University have been selected to undertake an overseas internship with Macromedia Inc. Silicon Valley.
The students will work in an IT role for three months, being mentored by senior staff at Macromedia.
The experience will give the students a taste of the international ICT industry, what it really takes to be the world’s best, and will assist them in their aim to become leaders in the industry.
The host company, Macromedia, will pay the students a stipend for the work performed. Funding grants for travel and living expenses have also been provided by the Faculty of Information Technology and Monash Abroad.
