Monash University Distinguished Alumni Awards

The Distinguished Alumni Awards recognise the achievements of outstanding members of Monash University's alumni community.

Distinguished Alumni Award

Monash University Distinguished Alumni Awards are awarded each year to Monash alumni who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement(s), exceptional contribution to their field and/or the community, and integrity and an impressive ability to inspire others.

Distinguished Young Alumni Award

Introduced in 2007, the Distinguished Young Alumni Award recognises all Monash graduates aged 35 years and under at the time of nomination who demonstrate one or more of the following:

1. Outstanding professional achievement(s); and/or
2. Exceptional contribution to their field and/or the community; and/or
3. Integrity and an impressive ability to inspire others.

Distinguished Alumni Service Award

Also introduced in 2007, the Distinguished Alumni Service Award is open to Monash alumni who have demonstrated an exceptional and sustained commitment to Monash University through one or more of the following:

1. Developing and participating in alumni and/or University-wide activities; and/or
2. Enhancing the student experience at Monash; and/or
3. Promoting Monash University as a leading educational and research institution in the broader community; and/or
4. Strengthening alumni communities of Monash University.
