Museum of Art exhibition Feedback: Art, Social Consciousness and Resistance, curated by Monash graduate Charlotte Day

This provocative exhibition looks at globalisation, politics and the experience of conflict and racism through the art of Australian artists Silvia Velez, Tom Nicholson, Louisa Bufardeci, Raquel Ormella, Fernando Pino, James Dodd and the art group Damp. Curator Charlotte Day (BA, MA) researched the exhibition for over 6 months and was directly inspired by a concern for recent world and local events and the escalating radical conservatism of Australian politics. Day hopes the exhibition will encourage visitors to reflect on current political issues and situations and broaden their perceptual borders.
