Join us in recognising the achievements of our worldwide alumni community by nominating Monash alumni for the 2013 Distinguished Alumni Awards.

Nominations are open in five categories: Distinguished Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award, Distinguished Alumni Professional Achievement Award, Distinguished Alumni Service Award, Distinguished Young Alumni Award, and Alumni Student Award.

Nominations close 5 pm (AEST), Monday, 29 April 2013, and must be submitted online via the links below.  Download a Microsoft Word version of the nomination form to assist you in preparing and submitting the nomination.

Distinguished Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award

Selection criteria: Open to all Monash graduates who, over the course of a lifetime, have built an impeccable reputation based on:

  • Exceptional contribution to their field of endeavour and the community; and
  • Integrity and an impressive ability to inspire others to strive for excellence.

Distinguished Alumni Professional Achievement Award

Selection criteria: Open to all Monash graduates who demonstrate:

  • Outstanding accomplishment in their field of endeavour; and
  • The ability to set standards of excellence in their professional field.

Distinguished Alumni Service Award

Selection criteria: Open to Monash graduates who have consistently demonstrated:

  • Outstanding volunteer leadership and service to Monash University, enhancing the affiliations with its alumni, student body and the broader community; and
  • Significant contribution to the wellbeing of others through community and humanitarian service.

Distinguished Young Alumni Award

Selection criteria: Open to Monash graduates aged 35 or under at the time of close of nominations, who display:

  • Significant achievements in their field of endeavour; and
  • Exceptional human values, which are an inspiration to others.

Alumni Student Award

Selection criteria: Open to all Monash University students, enrolled full-time towards an undergraduate degree and with a minimum of one semester of study left at the time of close of nominations, who have consistently demonstrated:

  • Outstanding voluntary service to Monash University; and
  • Community leadership and the ability to inspire fellow students to reach their highest potential.

This year's Distinguished Alumni Award winners will be announced at a gala awards ceremony in September 2013.
