IT innovator Mr Alan Ramadan (BSc 1984) is a co-founder and partner at Play Bigger Advisors, LLC., the preeminent marketing strategy and execution firm in Silicon Valley. Prior to this, he was Senior Vice-President and General Manager of Mobile and Device Solutions at Adobe Systems Inc.

During his time at Macromedia/Adobe Mr Ramadan drove the successful ‘Experience Matters’ marketing program, cementing the company’s position in the Internet business sector.

His work resulted in new products including the award-winning Flash Lite device, a software application enabling the use of multimedia on mobile phones and consumer electronic devices. Under his leadership, Mobile and Device Solutions was Adobe’s fastest growing business unit with annual growth of 45 per cent over three years.

Earlier in his career Mr Ramadan started a number of successful enterprises. He founded software development company OzWare and co-founded Quokka Sports, one of the first Australian technology companies to be listed on (technology focused stock exchange) the NASDAQ.

An accomplished sportsman, Mr Ramadan has represented Australia in baseball and yachting.
