Australian Alumni Association Mexico

Established in 2007, the Australian Alumni Association Mexico aims to support the professional development of Mexican students who have studied in Australia and to strengthen the relationship between Australia and Mexico.

An important goal of the new Association is to establish a marketing and communications infrastructure to support the vision, expansion and recognition of Australian education institutions in Mexico. The Association will ensure that Australian alumni in Mexico have the opportunity to remain in contact with each other and their institutions. In addition, it will support efforts to increase the awareness of the Australian ‘brand’ in Mexico.

The Association plans to hold regular events to support the professional development of alumni in different areas.

Association seeks feedback from Monash alumni

The Australian Alumni Association Mexico invites Monash University alumni to take part in a project aiming to increase the awareness of the Australian brand in Mexico.

The Association is working with several Mexican companies and has developed a comprehensive online survey in order to educate the Mexican labor market about the benefits of hiring Mexicans who have studied in Australia.

Alumni who would like to assist the Association with their project can email Keri Ramirez, president of the Australian Alumni Association Mexico.
