Australian Alumni Association India

The Australian Alumni Association India (AAA) is an umbrella organisation that represents alumni from Australian universities. The association was launched in 2002.

The AAA's vision is to create a network that imparts knowledge for the development of the community. The association aims to enable alumni to experience a smooth transition into their home country. The AAA also aims to provide alumni with career growth and development opportunities.

On 26 January, the AAA held an India Australia Day event in celebration of Australia Day and Indian Republic Day, which fall on the same day.

India Australia Day was held at the Gymkhana Club Pool Lawns in Chennai (India) to celebrate the national pride of both countries as well as their cultural integration. This year's event featured performances including an Indian contemporary dance choreographed to Australian Aboriginal music.
