Global Contacts Q and A

Monash has more than 100 alumni global contacts around the world. Global contacts are an important resource for providing advice to students on University life and finding work after graduation. Find out more about the Global Contacts program.

A.
Staying connected has many benefits to global business and everyone's daily lives. I run a Monash-related network called Musubi-Monash Japan Connection.

We have approximately 300 members and seven coordinators in Japan and Australia to enhance networking and share useful information between members. Being a global contact helps to promote our network across the world.

Q. What types of things have you been contacted about?
A. While I was at Monash, I realised how important external people were in supporting my education and research. By building connections with current students I feel I am helping them to network and even find employment once they complete their studies.
