Daryl Dellora (BA Visual Arts 1980)
Daryl has recently launched an authorised biography of retired justice Michael Kirby titled Michael Kirby: Law Love and Life. As well as these never before seen documents, the book draws on extensive interviews with Kirby, his family, and his partner of more than 40 years, Johan van Vloten, all of which provide insight into his personal, moral and spiritual convictions.

Geoff Pryor (DipEd 1970, BEd 1976, MEd 1979)
Geoff
has recently completed a biography of his father, L.J. Pryor: Len Pryor, Leading Teacher Educator. The 1960s and 1970s was a time of ferment for tertiary education in Victoria and indeed across Australia. Len retired in 1972 as Director of Teacher Eduction in Victoria.

Hazel Edwards (BA 1971, BEd 1974, MEd 1980)
Hazel, the National Ambassador for the 2012 Year of Reading, has recently released a non-fiction book called Authorpreneurship: The Business of Creativity.

Cinthia Koeksal (BBusCom 2003)
Cinthia has recently release her young adult novel The Scarlet Omen.

Steve Stefanopoulos (GradDipArch&RecMgt 1997)
Steve is the Heritage Collection and Records Manager at Loreto Mandeville Hall Toorak. He has recently released his book With Faith and Zeal Resplendent to mark the centenary of De La Salle College, Malvern.

Dr Damien Brown (MBBS(Hons) 2002)
Dr Brown has released his first book Band-Aid for a Broken Leg, his account of life on the medical frontline in Angola, Mozambique and South Sudan. Dr Brown, an Australian doctor based in Melbourne, began writing seriously after his last humanitarian posting, encouraged by readers of a blog he kept while working in Africa.

Dr Neil L Thomas (PhDArts 1991)
Dr Thomas's most recent book Stonehenge Mathematics is about numbers and counting, lines, triangles, circles and ovals and their use by the sages of Britain and Ireland 5000 years ago. Dr Thomas writes that arithmetic and geometry were the basis for most designs of ancient monuments, including Stonehenge.

Dr Adele Jones (BA 1979, BEd 1981, MEdSt 1984, PhDEduc 1989)
Dr Jones has released a new book of poetry called From the edge of the Pacific. She is currently affiliated with Arnold Bergstraesser Institute at Freiburg University.

Meredith Fuller (BA(Multi) 1978)
Meredith, a psychologist, has recently published Working with Mean Girls -- Identifying and Protecting Yourself from Workplace Nastiness.

Danny Crossman (BSc 1972, MEdSt 1984)
Danny has released his book The Animal Code, which argues for humanity to recognise animals’ needs and feelings. It sets out a five-point guide for how each of us can treat animals with respect and rights – and help our environment at the same time.

Peter Gibilisco (BA 1997, BBus(Acc) 1997, MA 2000)
Peter has recently released his book: Poliitics, Disability and Social Inclusion. Based on interviews with leading politicians and academics, the book argues that people with disabilities are amongst the most socially excluded peoples in society.

Carol Yip (BEc(Hons) 1988)
In Credit Card Syndrome Carol Yip discusses the psychological effect of credit cards and why it may be all too easy to fall into debt despite your best intentions.

Professor Bruce Scates (BA(Hons) 1980, PhD Arts 1995)
Professor Scates has recently released On Dangerous Ground - A Gallipoli Story, a book about unresolved loss, the need to know, and a story of reconciliation that bridges countries and generations.

Dr Elizabeth Finkel
Dr Finkel's new book The Genome Generation discusses what we have learned since 2001 - the beginning of the genome era. Have we changed the way we practise medicine, grow crops and breed livestock? What have we learnt about evolution?

Inge Meldgaard (BSc 1975)
Inge has recently published her second novel A Death In The Making: A Tale of the 25th Century. The book is set in 25th century Queensland and follows the investigation of the death of a young woman found near the small town of Stanthorpe.
