Monash alumni receive Fulbright Scholarships
Three Monash University alumni, who are also current postgraduate students, have received Fulbright Scholarships to pursue cutting-edge research.

     
 

Engineering graduate blooms as entrepreneur
Mr Martin Cheah (BE 1982) has used the skills he learnt at Monash University to transfer from engineering to entrepreneurship.

     
 

Monash appoints alumnus as new Chancellor
Respected neuroscientist, entrepreneur and philanthropist Dr Alan Finkel (BE 1976, PhD 1981) will be the next Chancellor of Monash University.

New postgraduate course: Medical Radiations
Monash University will this year welcome its first cohort of students into the new Master of Medical Radiations (Nuclear Medicine).

     
 

Seminar: Future directions for corporate responsibility
This seminar will feature four guest speakers including alumnus Peter Seidlel (BEc 1986, LLB 1989), public interest partner with Arnold Bloch Leibler.

Alumni profile

Alumnus develops algorithm to improve Google searches
Mr Ori Allon (BComp 2002, MIT 2005) has demonstrated the potential for improving web search engines by creating a new algorithm called Orion. His work has been recognised by Google who have employed Mr Allon as part of their Search Quality team.
