Monash to honour its new distinguished alumni
Monash University will celebrate the achievements of six outstanding alumni when the 2009 Distinguished Alumni Awards are presented on 10 June.

Emerging Victorian designer Robert Dumaresq (BID 2008) has won gold in this year’s Australian International Design Awards for his Switch commuter bike.

Monash community members join Design Hall of Fame
Richard Henderson (DipArtDes(FineArt) 1974) (pictured) and Professor John Redmond have been inducted into the Design Institute of Australia Hall of Fame.

Exhibition: Astronomy in a Nutshell
A new exhibition at the Monash Science Centre, showing until the end of 2009, will give visitors a brief introduction to the history, culture and science of astronomy.

Alumni event: Monash Association of Debaters
Alumni who are former members of the Monash Association of Debaters (MAD) are welcome at an alumni cocktail event at the Monash University Law Chambers on Friday 19 June.

Exhibition: Gabriella Mangano & Silvana Mangano
Held at the Caulfield campus' Faculty Gallery until 3 July, this exhibition features works by the Mangano sisters and brings together performance, drawing, video, sound and installation.
