In October this year law graduate Dr Sandy Caspi-Sable, senior consultant at CMA (an independent consulting and training organisation
), shared her negotiation expertise with alumni at a Gearing for Success seminar.

| Masters in Renaissance Studies |
What was the Renaissance? Why did the arts flourish in this particular time? The new Master of Renaissance course looks at the historical context in order to understand the art, literature, and architecture of the period. | Alumni needed for Masters championships |
The first ever Australian University Masters Championships will be held from 25-28 March 2005 in Armidale, NSW. Monash Sport is calling for alumni who are 30 years and over to represent the University in a range of sports including netball and soccer. <more>

| Hong Kong |
| Hong Kong Alumni Association members spent a night camping in the wilderness in Sai Kung last month. Despite some difficulties setting up their tents, the campers eventually enjoyed a BBQ dinner followed by a fun-filled day of buswalking, canoeing and archery. Fiona Balfour studied history at Monash. She is now the Chief Information
Officer of Australia's largest airline - Qantas Airways.
Although an arts degree is an unlikely beginning into the technical world, Fiona says the
