Performing arts: Lysistrata
Students from the 2009 Graduate Ensemble Academy of Performing Arts will star in this comedy about sex, war and power at the Alexander Theatre from 13 to 15 August.

Alumni events: Transport and Traffic Anniversary
The Monash Institute of Transport Studies will celebrate 40 years of transport education with a series of events in August including a lecture, a tour and a dinner.

Glass art exhibition: Monash Momentum
Glass works by Monash alumni and students will be on display in August and September at Kirra Galleries, Federation Square, as part of the 2009 Monash Momentum exhibition.
