| Diplomatic posting for Monash graduate |
Monash graduate Jean Dunn (BA 1975) has been appointed Australian Ambassador to Turkey. Ms Dunn is a career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and was previously Deputy Head of Mission in Seoul. She has held senior
positions responsible for World Trade Organisation negotiations, trade development and public
diplomacy. Ms Dunn is one of many Monash graduates to hold diplomatic posts.

| Award honours nursing great |
A Victorian government postgraduate nursing award will be established in honour of the late Monash graduate Dr Elizabeth Burchill. The 'Dr Elizabeth Burchill Postgraduate Nursing Prize' was created in recognition of Dr Burchill's distinguished 70 year career, both as a nurse in Australia and overseas, and as an author. during his Monash days as President of the Malaysian Students Union.
Now, 25 years since he graduated with an economics degree, Dr Yeoh holds
