Alumnus installed as new Monash Chancellor
Monash alumnus and philanthropist Dr Alan Finkel AM (BE 1976, PhD 1981) was recently installed as the University's seventh Chancellor.

     
 

Victoria honours Monash women
Dr Beth Wilson (BA 1975, LLB 1977) (pictured) and Professor Jean Armstrong (PhD(Eng) 1993) were inducted onto the Victorian Honour Roll of Women last month.

Run/walk: Mother's Day Classic
Monash University invites alumni to run or walk under the TeamMONASH banner in the upcoming Mother's Day Classic in Melbourne, on Sunday 11 May.

     
 

Free performing arts event: A drama and a comedy
The first 2008 event for the Monash Academy of Performing Arts includes two plays, 'Fragments and Dreams' and 'The Cherry Tree', showing from 8 to 10 April at the Clayton campus.

Canadian patient safety expert Professor Pat Croskerry (pictured) will discuss clinical decision making in medicine at a free lecture on 17 April at the Clayton campus.

     
 

Seminar: Using multimedia to record daily life
'MyLifeBits - An Experiment in Lifetime Storage' will feature guest speaker Gordon Bell, principal researcher at Microsoft in the US. The event is on 17 April at the Caulfield campus.
