Monash Sport has established a Hall of Fame to acknowledge graduates with sporting achievements at the highest level. The first graduates to be inducted are Claire Mitchell-Taverner OAM (BA 1996) field hockey, Robby Foldvari (BEc 1980) billiards and snooker, and Simon Yudelevich (BEc 1989) beach volleyball and volleyball. <more>
Monash Whites Football 40th Anniversary

Five of the highest undergraduate achievers in Information Technology at Monash University have been selected to undertake an overseas internship with Macromedia Inc. Silicon Valley, USA. The students will work in an IT role for three months and be mentored by senior staff at macromedia, including Monash science alumnus Al Ramadan. <more>

Mentoring Programs
The successful Monash Alumni Association (MAA) Mentoring Program for MAA members will continue in 2004. New mentees and mentors are invited to participate through a targeted 3 month mentoring partnership. Law Mentor Scheme
Law graduates can enhance the professional development of current law students through the Monash Law Mentor Scheme and help with the difficulties law students face in transition from uni to the work place. Inq: Samuel Hawkins, tel +613 9905 2326.
Four half-day workshops in the coming months are designed to improve the performance of legal firms. Workshops are targetted to lawyers, paralegal staff and legal marketers, human resource practitioners and finance specialists.
