Postgraduate certificate One semester Bachelor degree in same or related discipline/field of study
Postgraduate diploma Two semesters Bachelor degree or postgraduate certificate in same or related discipline/field of study
Master (Honours) Two semesters Honours bachelor degree or equivalent with a major study in the same or related discipline/field of study
Master by coursework Two semesters when entering with a relevant four-year undergraduate degree.
Three semesters when entering with a relevant three-year bachelor degree
Relevant bachelor degree or equivalent
Professional master by coursework Two semesters Bachelor degree and work experience
Master by research Two semesters Honours bachelor degree (IIA or above) or equivalent with a major study in the same or related discipline/field of study
Professional doctorate Two to four years Honours bachelor degree (IIA or above) in the same or similar field with relevant professional experience or a relevant master degree with a one-third research component
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Two to four years Honours bachelor degree (IIA or above) or equivalent with a major study in the same or related discipline/field of study or a master degree with a significant research component
Higher doctorate Submission of collected published works. No enrolment is required Substantial contribution to research in the field over an extended period following honours bachelor degree or research master degree
