How to Apply to Defer?
Once you have received your course offer letter from Monash and decide you would like to delay your start to study, you can apply to defer your offer. This means that you can start your course later - in the following semester or year.
To find out when and how to apply, read Taking a Gap Year (pdf).
How to Stay Connected?
During your deferment, it is important to keep checking your Monash email account for official information from the University. You can also forward emails from your Monash account to an existing email address that you regularly access.
To set up the forwarding process, please download and follow Instructions for Accessing and Forwarding Monash University emails (pdf)
