Does my graduation fee include the hire of my academic dress?

Yes, this is covered by the fee.

Is there a deposit when I collect my gown?

No deposit is required.

When and where do I collect my academic dress?

Academic dress appropriate to your award, will be issued to you on the day of the ceremony. To collect your academic dress you will need to present you seat allocation ticket from the following venues.

Kuala Lumpur
From Lagoon 1, at Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel:

Collection Times for Kuala Lumpur:

• 1.00pm ceremony - 10.30am - 12 noon
• 6.00pm ceremony - 3.30pm - 5.00pm

Return Times for Kuala Lumpur:

• 1.00pm ceremony - 3.00pm - 4.00pm
• 6.00pm ceremony - 8.00pm - 9.00pm

Beijing
From the Grand Salon IV & V, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel

Collection Times for Beijing:

• 4.00pm ceremony - 2.00pm - 3.00pm

Return Times for Beijing:

• 4.00pm ceremony - 6.00pm - 7.00pm

Singapore

• 7.00pm ceremony  - 4.30pm - 6.00pm

Return Times for Singapore:

• 7.00pm ceremony -  8.30pm - 10.00pm

When should I return my academic dress?

Your regalia should be returned on the day of your graduation within 1 1/2 hours following the completion of your ceremony. You are required to have your seat allocation ticket with you.

Failure to return regalia, by the time specified in the condition received, will incur a replacement cost of AUD$500.00.

What graduation services are available on the day?

We have photographers, plaques and Monash memorabilia at each offshore venue.

Photographers

The photographers are available from the commencement of the collection times. Check in with their reception desk prior to having your portraits taken. Samples are posted to the graduate for selection of enlargements and graduates are not locked into a package. There is a sitting fee required on the day to cover the cost of sitting.
