Monash Directions 2025 is our 20-year strategic statement with a clear aim that by 2025 we will be known internationally for our uncompromising pursuit of quality. It states that we will be distinctive because our research-intensive, international focus enables us to address important theoretical and practical challenges of our times, and develop diverse graduates who do the same.
Monash University graduated its first students a little over 40 years ago and it has become one of the leading universities in Australia, with a growing international reputation. We now move into an exciting phase when we will build upon these achievements and create a world-class university committed to improving the human condition by advancing knowledge and fostering creativity.
